Roundtable: African Studies and Collaboration between Global North and South: Seen from Anthropology and other Disciplines
This roundtable, with academic speakers from African partner universities of Freie Universität Berlin, is concerned with questions about how constructive and substantial collaboration, between partners from the global North and South can and should proceed, and what particular challenges and demands need to be addressed and taken on board. This is a collaborative event between IfSKA, Freie Universität, Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO), and the co2libri network, funded by the Berlin University Alliance. The speakers from East Africa are in Berlin through an ErasmusPlus global teaching exchange partnership programme.

Science meets Embassies
Science meets Embassies aims at informing the science, education and cultural departments of the embassies in Berlin about scientific institutions and their international activities and at initiating a more intense exchange between the embassies and the institutions. Berlin higher education institutions and funding organizations will present themselves at separate information stands where appointees for science, education or culture from the Berlin based embassies will have the chance to speak personally to representatives of the institutions. Science meets Embassies is co-organised by the DAAD Government Liaison Office Berlin and the Berlin University Alliance. This event is aimed at pesonnel from Embassies in and around Berlin.
