Inhalte/ Contents

This course is a continuation of the X Student Research Group “Social connection in times of climate change” from the Winter semester 2025/26 and is open to new students. Last semester, students developed their own projects addressing the intersection of loneliness and climate change. The project “Intergenerational Resilience Lab” was selected by the group to be implemented in the summer semester. It aims to explore how older adults and students who experienced migration perceive climate-related emotions, loneliness, and social connectedness in Berlin. Students will help plan an intergenerational World Café, engage in science communication by organising a creative exhibition, and analyse and summarize results in a report.  While the course is open to all disciplines and levels, students who speak English and have a background or interest in arts and illustration are especially encouraged to participate to help turn the World Café findings into an interesting and artistic exhibition.
