In this interdisciplinary research seminar, you work together with the instructor and other students as equal co‑researchers on a real ongoing project about how hidden rules, norms and routines in different study programmes shape learning, cooperation and ideas of “good” science. In mixed teams (e.g. engineering, computer science, philosophy, sociology, design, economics, psychology), you collaboratively design and carry out a study using methods such as ethnographic observation, short interviews, document and teaching material analysis or reflection journals. Based on our findings, we will co‑develop small interventions that strengthen competences for responsible work in technology and society. The results will be presented at PartWiss Conference in November. Further publication options will be discussed. No prior knowledge in any discipline or method is required – curiosity, willingness to reflect and to work across disciplines is enough. The course is open to Bachelor and Master students from all fields; international and exchange students are particularly welcome, as diverse perspectives enrich the research.
