In this workshop, participants will learn about data protection-compliant AI applications and use cases that open up new avenues for the reuse of research data and contribute to improving data quality, metadata availability, and accessibility. Using concrete use cases from research, the workshop will present legally compliant ways to apply AI throughout the data lifecycle.

What challenges does AI pose for research? Which data protection-compliant AI tools can support researchers in this regard? What requirements do funding agencies and universities set regarding AI? You will know the answers to these questions after this workshop.
