The project Collaboratively Advancing Research Data Support (CARDS) is pleased to invite researchers from BUA institutions to join an interactive workshop on research data management (RDM) this May. No prior knowledge on research data management is required!
This workshop is tailored to the needs of the participants and will cover essential topics in RDM such as naming conventions, data documentation and organization, legal aspects of data management, and data publishing.
During the first part of the workshop, which takes place on May 7th 2026, you will engage in hands-on exercises to equip you with practical skills that you can implement immediately in your research. In the follow-up online meeting with the trainer in October, you will have the opportunity to receive feedback on your research data management and refine it with the help of our expert.

Trainer profile
Dr. Benjamin Golub-Overbeck is a theoretical and physical chemist, the founder of The FAIR Elephant and a member of the State Initiative for Research Data Management in Lower Saxony (FDM-NDS). He is also an experienced RDM trainer.
