The Volkswagen Foundation supports the project "Exploring and Activating the Democratic Potential of Religion in Times of Growing Antisemitism and Racism” with 1.4 mio Euro. The project partners of Dr. Saskia Schäfer from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and Prof. Dr. Sabine Achour from Freie Universität Berlin are the Education and Counseling Practice, the Kreuzberg Initiative Against Antisemitism in Berlin, and Meet2Respect. This initiative builds up on a previous prject funded by the BCGE in 2020-21: "Democracy and Interfaith Initiatives: Civic Education, Democracy and Religion".
