TU Berlin Academy and Bard College: Workshops for International Researchers with Scholars at Risk status in April and May

News vom 24.03.2026

We would like to draw your attention to three upcoming workshops that have been specifically organized for International Researchers with Scholars at Risk status.

These workshops are organized and hosted by the TU Berlin Academy and are free of charge thanks to the generous support of Bard College.

The workshops are designed to support your professional development and future career perspectives, both within the German academic system and beyond. As many fellowship and support programs for international scholars in Germany — such as the Philipp Schwartz Initiative or the Einstein Foundation funding — are limited in duration, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to further strengthen your professional positioning and explore sustainable career pathways.

The following workshops will be offered:

1.           COMMUNICATION AND WORK CULTURE IN GERMANY: A SEMINAR FOR INTERNATIONAL ACADEMICS, 1. April 2026

https://www.academy-tu.berlin/laden/communication-and-work-culture-in-germany-scholars-at-risk/

2.           NAVIGATING RESEARCH FUNDING IN GERMANY: APPLYING FOR SELF-FUNDED ACADEMIC POSITIONS, 8. April 2026

3.           CAREER STRATEGY FOR ACADEMIA AND BEYOND: A SEMINAR FOR INTERNATIONAL ACADEMICS, 18. Mai 2026

We kindly ask you to register for the workshops via the links listed above.

Participation is fully funded, and we warmly and strongly encourage you to attend if your schedule allows.

Please note, however, that travel costs for attending the seminars unfortunately cannot be reimbursed.
