Dr. Jess Rohmann is an early career researcher in neuroepidemiology with strong interests in improving scientific practice, reforming research assessment, and creating a more constructive research culture. In her research and teaching activities, she seeks to promote the application of rigorous, modern methods in observational medical research. Her strong advocacy for comprehensive, high-quality training for early-career researchers is evidenced by her leading roles in developing the Berlin Epidemiological Methods Colloquium, the Peerspectives peer-review training program, and the Health Data Sciences PhD Program at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. As a BIH SPOKES Wellcome Trust Funded Translational Partnership Fellow, Jess Rohmann has participated in several bottom-up initiatives to enact change on an institutional level. She is an advocate for women in science and was selected as a Falling Walls Foundation Intensive Track Fellow. Since December 2022, she is the Head of the Scientific Directorate Office at the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin.
