Amelya is an executive board member of Berlin Exchange Medicine, a student-run Open Science journal, education platform, and think tank for life science students in Germany.

She is a third-year medical student at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin with an interest to bridge the gap in German healthcare curricula by shifting the mindset of young aspiring scientists towards Open Science.
