Research Description

It's about the professional skilled labor immigration to Germany comparing other immigration countries like Japan, UK and new Zealand.

Where in the world has your career been largely based until now?

Germany, China and Egypt 

Why Berlin?

It's the capital of my country of birth and the base of my research institute and a large base of contacts and connections with a better spread out and field research's Initiatives.

What fascinates you about your research area?

I'm an interdisciplinary scientist with broad interaction with different cultures and diversity in thinking and living pattern with professional skills including cross-cultural, sociology and intercultural competencies knowledge also combining anthropology, sociology, and psychology in my research study.

How will your research change the world?

Reshaping Germany and the new world leader including made in Germany and the brain formation and formulation.
In Germany scientists got the idea to share with others back home a scientific foundation to start from and develop, I learnt patience and orderly thinking combined with concrete planning skills.

What major short-term goal are you currently working towards with your research?

To compare many countries and improve the immigration acts and procedures for professional skilled labor to Germany.

How did you become interested in your specific topic?

My previous diversified acquired knowledge and studies combined with my four-angle model practical approach:
First angle: My medical studies which built a scientific systematic thinking and an organized analysis ability. Second angle: National and international marketing studies and application of a trial-and-error methodology based on what I`ve learnt. Third angle: Quality concepts, which enabled me to work in the aviation sector. I was able to apply six sigma and lean management including cost reduction and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of total quality management and quality management systems. Fourth angle: My interests in Information Technology and business solutions led me to incorporate technology with all digital applications that was acquired by Microsoft in Office 365, Project management, Minitab, SPC and SAP application. Training and Lecturing, having worked in the training field in (Egyptair, Tianjin University, ESLSCA) I set the strategic training direction and developed soft and technical skills including Egyptair future leaders. I have provided HRD trainings for employees, as well as external clients within Egypt and abroad in Germany, USA, Thailand, Austria, Switzerland, France, China. Adapting to different cultures allowed me to influence the leadership capabilities in different organizations. Collaborating and exchanging knowledge with others esteemed professionals in working environment would further contribute its success by addressing the main aims of diversity towards sustainable business development and innovation in developing countries across multiple stakeholders.

If you could have a radical career change for a week, what would it be?

To work with AI and product developers 

Rumour has it that nobody is perfect. Which skill or ability have you really had to work on in your career (or are you perhaps still working on)?

I am workholic with lots of emotions involved and get depressed with failure and have lots of empathy towards my team

What is something surprising that people might not know about you?

I went all over the world 

What were some challenging or discouraging moments in your career?

When the top leaders and managers didn't believe in my skills, including that I'm overqualified or under qualified

Who is the most interesting or inspiring person you have ever worked with?

H.E Ahmed Shafeek the aviation minister, H.E Ulrich Niemann, the Head of Division International Politics

What would be the greatest professional achievement you could ever aspire to?

To keep on going and to deliver a value and communicating with good community and healthy SDG environment 

Has Berlin had any surprises in store for you?

It's very big and connecting different cultures with diversity of thinking and multiple tools.

What would your advice be for colleagues at home interested in a research stay in Berlin?

Learn German, not only by language but through cultural interaction and connecting with German native people in your home country to help you to accommodate the new moving to Germany.
