Early Career Award 2026

Up to six internationally selected early-career researchers will present their innovative ideas for improving research quality. Following the short presentations and a Q&A session with the jury and audience, the international jury will select the winner of the €100,000 Early Career Award.

The prize is part of the Einstein Award for Promoting Quality in Research, which recognizes outstanding contributions to quality, transparency, and reproducibility in science.

The finalists will be announced a few days before the event. The session will be moderated by Ulrich Dirnagl, Secretary of the Einstein Foundation Award. The Early Career Award is funded by the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH).
