Call for entries - Einstein Foundation Award 2026
The annual €350,000 Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research in cooperation with the BIH Quest Center for Responsible Research is inviting applications and nominations again.

Researchers at all career stages, as well as institutions and initiatives, are invited to apply or nominate candidates for this prestigious international award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to strengthening the rigor, reliability, robustness, and transparency of research across the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and life sciences.
The Einstein Foundation Award honors successful candidates in three categories:
I Individual Award (€150,000): Individuals or small teams making a profound impact on research quality are eligible for self-nomination or nomination by others.
II Institutional Award (€100,000): Organizations, large collaborative networks, or other entities that make an exceptional contribution to advancing research quality may apply or be nominated.
III Early Career Award (€100,000): Early career researchers and small teams are encouraged to apply with bold, innovative projects that advance transparency, robustness, and integrity in research.
The submission deadline is April 30, 2026, with winners to be announced at the end of the year.
