Researchers often wear many hats – they frequently work as peer reviewers and scientific editors, too. BEE-NET (Berlin Editors Exchange Network) is a new platform for scientific journal editors in Berlin. It was launched jointly by the Peerspectives peer review training initiative and Objective 3 – Advancing Research Quality and Value of the Berlin University Alliance. BEE-NET aims to rethink the peer review process, improve the quality of scientific publications, and support early career researchers through mentoring and practical training. The launch event on 28 November will be the first opportunity to get involved – join us and help shape the future!

Whether you're interested in improving the peer review process, navigating open science or trying out new approaches, this network offers a unique opportunity to connect, reflect and experiment together. Join us in shaping the future of rigorous peer review and empowering early-career researchers to participate meaningfully through practical training.
