1st DiGENet Symposium „Lehre entgrenzen/Unbounding Teaching“. Shared discussions on current questions of inclusive and diversity-sensitive higher education teaching
On May 26, 2026, the DiGENet symposium “Lehre entgrenzen/Unbounding Teaching: Perspectives, Ideas, Impulses” will take place at Freie Universität Berlin. The event will focus on current approaches to diversity- and gender-responsive teaching in higher education. The program includes a keynote by Prof. Tanja Tajmel, a range of short workshops on diverse themes, poster presentations, a gallery walk, and a closing dialogue with Prof. Tanja Tajmel and Prof. Eva Cheng. The symposium will be held in German and English.
The event is addressed to (target group): The event is aimed at faculty, students, and other members of the academic community from all BUA partner institutions as well as other Berlin universities who are interested in advancing teaching at the intersection of excellence, diversity, and participation.
