TD-Lab: Second call for transdisciplinary research projects launched
New funding call – up to € 10,000 each in material funding for up to 15 projects! Berlin University Alliance researchers can submit their concepts until September 30, 2025.
The Berlin University Alliance's TD-Lab – Laboratory for Transdisciplinary Research, has just officially launched the second call of its funding program. A maximum of fifteen participating research work packages will be supported with material resources of up to €10,000 each. The funding program aims to increase the impact of new or ongoing research projects by actively involving relevant social actors with their knowledge and practical perspectives.
Timetable & framework conditions
- Funding period: January 15 to July 15, 2026
- Submission deadline: September 30, 2025
- A maximum of 15 work packages will be funded, each with up to €10,000 in material resources
All researchers from the partner institutions of the Berlin University Alliance – including Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität und Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – are invited to submit their transdisciplinary and participatory project ideas.
The TD-Lab once again enables research with practical relevance and social impact. Researchers are cordially invited to submit innovative, co-creative ideas – and become part of a transdisciplinary community.
