Berlin University Alliance announces new research funding / closing date for applications January 28, 2021

For the call for proposals: Research Quality and Open Science under Objective 3: Advancing Research Quality and Value of the Berlin University Alliance, project proposals can be submitted from all disciplines. The projects should focus on expanding and networking scientific expertise on research quality and open science in the Berlin research environment, and should also contain a concrete implementation concept with concrete measures for the sustainable safeguarding of research quality and open science within the alliance. With the two funding lines, Objective 3 is implementing its tasks of increasing research quality and also improving openness and transparency in research as part of an open call for proposals. New disciplinary approaches as well as transfer capability to other disciplines are particularly welcome.
The call is aimed at professors, postdoctoral researchers, managerial staff, and postdoctoral employees from research-support areas who are employed at the partner institutions of the Berlin University Alliance, which consists of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Funding of up to a maximum of 150,000 euros per annum can be provided for the selected projects for up to two years. Closing date for applications is January 28, 2021.
