Senate passes draft bill for the Berlin University Alliance cooperation platform

In a meeting held on July 21, 2020, the Berlin Senate, following a proposal by the Governing Mayor and Senator for Higher Education and Research, Michael Müller, passed legislation on the establishment of Berlin University Alliance’s cooperation platform as a public corporation. The bill will now be submitted to the House of Representatives.
The cooperation platform is intended to support the four partners of the Berlin University Alliance – Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin – as the central administrative unit for implementing the Alliance’s objectives.
