During the summer semester, we explored the "Mauerweg" by bicycle - and its past, present, and future. Our research questions and methodological approaches were as diverse as the "Mauerweg" itself. Depending on prior knowledge and interests, we were able to explore a wide variety of topics: urban planning, historical, landscape, neighborhoods or stages of the path as well as its infrastructural conditions. We used interdisciplinary approaches: Photography, mapping, archival and source work, network analysis, participant observation, and many more. The work in topic-oriented small groups was in the foreground here.
