Teammitglied oder Werkzeug - Anthropomorphismus und Fehlererfahrung in der Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion

Leiterin: Eileen Roesler, Technische Universität Berlin

Robots are continually making their way into our professional and private lives. In this new and real team partnership, trust forms the basis for successful and smooth interaction. Therefore, the trust dynamics between humans and robots, especially with respect to robot errors, are the focus of this research project. Here, students work directly as scientists under close supervision, using real robots in laboratory experiments to investigate how errors and (anthropomorphic) design affect trust. The highly interdisciplinary research project is aimed at students from psychological, cognitive science, information technology, humanities, and engineering programs who already have solid experience in empirical work (for example, literature synthesis, data analysis, programming).
