Publication of the OBUA Toolbox for Ombudspersons at Berlin Research Institutions

The toolbox was developed as part of the project OBUA-Ombudswesen@BUA funded by the Berlin University Alliance in the Objective 3 - Advancing Research Quality and Value. It is aimed at ombudspersons for good scientific practice at Berlin research institutions. It serves as a catalog of practical knowledge about the work and tasks of ombudspersons, from advising to handling inquiries and dealing with suspected cases of scientific misconduct. Sections include general information on good scientific practice, the roles and tasks of ombudspersons, and useful contact points. The toolbox addresses ombudspersons of all levels of experience and is intended as a support tool that addresses both novice and more experienced ombudspersons.
