The Oxford Berlin Research Partnership invites interested researchers to an information event on funding opportunities for scientific collaborations between Germany and the UK. The Global Engagement team of the University of Oxford will host representatives from some of the major German and UK funding bodies (DFG, The Royal Society, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Royal Academy of Engineering and more) at Rhodes House, Oxford, as they showcase current and future funding opportunities available to researchers working in both sciences and the humanities.
This is a chance to hear directly from funders about available grant programmes, and gain an understanding of what they look for in applications. The event is suitable for both early-career researchers and those more established in their field.
Places are limited and registration is essential via this link: Anglo-German Research Funding Opportunities Showcase Tickets, Wednesday, May 13 • 2 PM - 5:30 PM | Eventbrite
The event will be followed by an informal drinks reception and will also serve as a networking opportunity for formerly and currently funded researchers, those actively involved in the Oxford Berlin Research Partnership, and other interested parties.
