In this project, researchers from around the world engage with the profound changes in the world of work from a historical perspective. Growing inequality, along with precarious and informal employment conditions, have been further exacerbated by the pandemic and have become a global issue more than ever before. The network aims to bring local perspectives from countries such as Argentina, India, and South Africa more prominently into international research. The project was led by Prof. Dr. Andreas Eckert of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and concluded in 2024.
