Hidden Research performs stories and conflicts surrounding academic freedom, based on the experiences of endangered and displaced scholars from around the world. The performances are grounded in interviews with researchers and center on key themes, which are shaped dramaturgically into dialogues. By bringing these theatrical dialogues into public spaces, the project creates points of contact with the anonymous, personal experiences of the scholars.

The project was initiated as part of the Science Year 2024 and is being continued with other funding sources.
