The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation will fund networking meetings abroad to be hosted by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation named the winners in its competition to host Research Alumni Meetings. The ten winning institutions include Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technische Universität. Each will receive 40,000 euros to host a networking meeting abroad. The Berlin Social Science Center (WZB, Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung) is also among this year's winners. Last year Freie Universität won funding through the program and hosted a conference in New York under the motto “Humanities – What’s Next?”.
