The University of Oxford is looking for a a Centre Administrator and Liaison Manager for the new subsidiary company – Oxford in Berlin – who will work in the office at the Berlin Museum für Naturkunde. A significant portion of the post-holder’s activities will be related to Oxford’s research partnership with the four institutions of the Berlin University Alliance (Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and the Charité – Universitätmedizin Berlin) to promote joint research activities and other forms of collaboration and exchange. Deadline is August 28, 2020.
The post-holder will play a significant representative role for the centre, supporting the Director, Oxford in Berlin, and the Managing Director of the subsidiary company which is a gemeinnützige Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, or gGmbH. They will be the only full-time employee of Oxford in Berlin and will be expected to work closely with colleagues within the administration of the Berlin University Alliance and its member institutions, as well as with other universities and organisations in Berlin and Germany, and a range of other stakeholders.
In addition, following the UK’s departure from the European Union on 31 January 2020, candidates should be able to demonstrate that they are entitled legally to live and work within an EU27 country.
