News from May 02, 2019

Within their partnership, the University of Oxford and Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin are seeking to strengthen already existing links as well as to stimulate new research collaborations between the four Berlin partners and all four Oxford University academic divisions.

For the second time, the Oxford/Berlin Research Partnership is offering funding in the form of Seed Grants. Grants can be awarded for, among other things, workshops, short-term research stays, and travel grants. Applications may be submitted by researchers, including doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers, from at least one of the participating Berlin institutions and the University of Oxford, who are planning a joint research project. The application deadline for submitting proposals is 27 June, 2019.

The first call took place in autumn 2018. A total of 29 projects from the humanities, natural sciences, and life sciences were selected for funding.
