Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau, who are considered pioneers of the ”Art of Interface”, were invited to kick off the LOOPS event series. Their art combines biology and technology, nature and algorithms. With their works, the artist duo enables reflection on plants as interfaces to their natural environment, the environment perceived by humans or the environment made by humans.

LOOPS is organised by New Practice in Art and Technology in cooperation with #Berlinforschtmit. The events will also address questions and issues raised by Berliners through #Berlinforschtmit - The Research Forum Berlin Citizens of the Berlin University Alliance.

LOOPS will take place every Thursday evening during the lecture period in 2023. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to talk to the speakers and guests on site at Bar Null.

The event is addressed to (target group): The event will be held in German. Registration is not required.
