Lecture series: Diversity and Excellence - A Tension Relationship?!

Prof. Dr. Kathrin Zippel's inaugural lecture as Einstein Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies is part of the lecture series. Kathrin Zippel will give a lecture on "Diffusion of Policy Ideas on Gender and Diversity Change in Academic Institutions". Kathrin Zippel is an internationally recognized sociologist. Most recently, she held a professorship at North-eastern University in Boston. She has also served as co-chair of the Social Exclusion and Inclusion Seminar at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University. She was a fellow at the Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School, among other positions. Her focus areas include gender, political sociology, science, and technology.
