Einstein Center Digital Future and Daimler host 24-hour-hackathon for students
News from Nov 01, 2017
The Einstein Center Digital Future Berlin and the Daimler company are holding a hackathon on urban mobility on Friday, November 24, and Saturday, November 25, in Berlin. The 24-hour-hackathon is part of a worldwide series of events organized by Daimler's DigitalLife Campus. The word "hackathon" was created from "to hack" in the sense of exploratory programming and "marathon." The event is aimed primarily at students of the Berlin institutions participating in the Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF), Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin, with background in IT, engineering, UX design, business development, or similar fields. The ECDF is funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin.
