greenCHEM Industry Connect. Energy materials, AI and digitalisation: connecting research and industry

Nov 24, 2026 | 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How can research results become new technologies and business opportunities? Industry Connect 2026 brings companies, researchers and startups together to initiate collaborations in energy materials and AI and digitalisation in chemistry.

The programme includes a keynote by Michelle Browne (ASCEND and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin), technology presentations, short spotlight pitches and panel discussions. Thematic “Circles” roundtables with representatives from Siemens, BASF, Shimadzu and Rubitherm offer opportunities to discuss specific challenges and potential joint development projects.

greenCHEM is organising the event together with Berlin Partner, JUNI, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin. The involvement of these three universities, all partner institutions of the Berlin University Alliance, connects the event directly to the alliance. It provides a setting for exchange across institutions and for initiating collaborations between academia and industry.

The programme begins at 09:45. Advance registration is required.

The event is addressed to Researchers, industry representatives, startups, and professionals in technology transfer and innovation management, particularly in chemistry, materials science, energy and digitalisation.
