The Berlin University Alliance cordially invites researchers to an information and networking event on the funding opportunities offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for international collaboration.

The focus will be on current funding programmes for initiating, deepening and strategically developing international research and higher education collaborations. In addition to an overview of selected DAAD funding lines, participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and network with colleagues from the institutions of the Berlin University Alliance.

Registration for the event is required. 

The event will take place in person. The first part can also be followed via live stream. 

Programme
From 1.30 pm, we invite you to join us for coffee, cake and an informal get-together outside the Senate Hall. The official programme begins at 2.00 pm. 

2.00 pm – approx. 3.10 pm (attendance in person or online)
Insights into selected DAAD funding programmes, as well as thematic presentations and a Q+A session.

approx. 3.10 pm – 4.00 pm (in-person attendance only)
Presentation of current DAAD projects from the institutions of the Berlin University Alliance, with an opportunity for informal discussion with participants.

The event is addressed to: Research assistants, postdoctoral researchers and academics from all disciplines who wish to establish international collaborations or strategically develop existing partnerships.
