The Postdoc Academy is once again offering a program to support researchers at risk in reflecting and planning their careers, both within and beyond academia: One-on-One Online Coaching Sessions
As part of the Academic Freedom Week from May 18 until May 22, 2026, we invite Scholars at Risk to confidential 45-minute coaching sessions. These sessions provide a supportive space to reflect on your current professional situation
- Explore career paths in academia or other sectors
- Identify next steps for your career development
Who Can Benefit?
- This program is designed for researchers whose lives, freedom, or well-being are under threat and who experience heightened uncertainty about their professional future.
During the sessions, you may discuss topics such as career transitions, funding or contract insecurity, professional goals, CV feedback, or any other career-related topic.
Please note: While a 45-minute session cannot resolve structural challenges, it can help you clarify your priorities and define actionable steps.

The sessions will be led by Dr. Ulrike Schneeberg, an experienced coach and trainer specializing in academic career transitions and reflective leadership.
