Supplementary Workshop: Developing, Visualizing, and Presenting Business Models - A Business Model Canvas Workshop
- Content: Everything starts with an idea, e.g. for solving social or ecological challenges. But what happens next? Especially at the beginning, founders need structuring and communication tools to plan further steps in the implementation of their project in a meaningful way and also to incorporate feedback into the development of products or service offerings. In this workshop, we show how business models can be developed and visualized in groups or individually using the Business Model Canvas. The method is based on the design thinking approach and actively engages with the customer perspective. The results can be used to derive work packages and further strategic steps. The method also provides a starting point for presenting the business idea and facilitates storytelling and the derivation of key messages for marketing. Having your own idea is helpful for participation in the workshop, but not necessary.
