Dates of the StuROPx Qualification Program for X-Student Research Groups in the Summer Semester 2026
Junior researchers whose teaching research project is funded within the framework of StuROPx have the opportunity to further their didactic training as part of the StuROPx qualification program. The aim is to prepare junior researchers for their task as leaders of (student) research groups and to accompany them in the process. Junior researchers who participate in at least 75 percent of the workshops offer will receive a certificate documenting their didactic training.

Supplementary Workshop: Science Communication – Theory and Practice
- Content: This two-part workshop, participants learn how to structure scientific content clearly, adapt it to different target audiences, and communicate it effectively. The workshop is strongly practice-oriented: alongside concise theoretical input, the main focus is on developing an individual project. More than half of the time is dedicated to working on participants’ own ideas, refining them, and receiving feedback — with the goal of leaving the workshop with a concrete project outline.
Part 1 covers core concepts and goals of science communication, target group analysis using personas, sharpening and focusing topics, and an overview of suitable formats.
Part 2 focuses on key principles of good science communication, developing a clear core message, storytelling, stakeholder analysis, and basic aspects of project management.
Between the two workshop sessions, participants complete a take-home assignment to further develop their own project (approximately 3–4 hours of work).
Number of participants: maximum 12 - Dates: 19.05.2026 and 26.05.2026
- Time: both days 14:00 to 18:00

From 2019 to 2024, she developed and taught science communication courses for students at Technische Universität Berlin. She currently works at IMAGINARY, an organization that creates aesthetically engaging exhibitions, interactive installations, games, and other participatory science formats. She is also the founding member and managing director of the Experimental Stage Project e.V., which brings science to music festivals.
