7th Conference for Student Research (StuFo 2022)

The 7th Conference for Student Research was organized within the framework of the Berlin University Alliance, the excellence alliance of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. It tok place from October 4 - 5, 2022.
The team of the Student Research Opportunities Program (StuROPx) in the Berlin excellence alliance cordially invited all students from all over Germany and from all discipines to present their research at StuFo 2022 and to discuss it with an interested (non-specialist) audience.
Since 2020, studies have mainly taken place in the form of online distance learning - exchange and interaction have been neglected here in places. Under the motto "We want to talk (again)!", StuFo 2022 focused on dialogue and discourse. The contributions should be suitable to make others curious about student research and their own subject, to stimulate exchange and give impulses for discussion.
In the spirit of this motto, StuFo 2022 was planned as a face-to-face event and took place on the premises of Humboldt University in Berlin Mitte.
Interested students could submit a contribution to the conference (e.g., a short talk or poster) via a call for papers. After reviewing the pleasingly large number of submissions, the selected contributions were compiled into thematically appropriate interdisciplinary sessions.
In total, there were 16 sessions with contributions from all over Germany via Oxford to Singapore (as strategic partnerships of the Berlin University Alliance), plus poster presentations, workshops, a panel talk and an evening event for in-depth discussions and further ideas. The conference was open to a broad interested audience. In total, about 180 students, (young) researchers and other interested parties attended the conference.
Currently, the Conference Proceedings are in progress. Students have the opportunity to participate and publish their research results. At stufo2022.berlinexchange.de you will find all information about the publication process and the corresponding online self-publishing platform.
