The X-Tutorials are research tutorials initiated by students. Here, students from different disciplines conduct joint research on a topic. All students of the four partners of the Berlin University Alliance can participate.

Students receive credit points for their participation. The X-Tutorials are mostly offered as one-semester projects; for some projects, two-semester participation is also possible. Students can only take one X-Tutorial per semester and earn credit points here. The number of participants is limited to 15 per project.

How can I participate in an X-Tutorial in the winter semester 2022/23?

1. You have found an X-Tutorial in the project overview that interests you?
2. Come to the first session in the first week of the semester. Alternatively, please email the tutors (see project description for contact) to find out when and how the first X-Tutorial session will be held.
3. If you decide to participate in the X-Tutorial after the introductory session, please notify the tutors of your binding interest in participating by October 24th 18:00. If the X-Tutorial does not start in the first week of the semester, please inform the tutors of your interest in participating directly after the first session.
4. If there are more than 15 interested students, places will be drawn by lot. The tutors will inform you on October 27th if you have received a place.
5. If you have received a place, please check: Is the X-Tutorial offered at a different associate institution than the one at which you are enrolled? 
6. If not, no further steps are required to enroll.
7. If it is, you must enroll as a BUA student at the offering institution. 

• For StuROPx projects offered at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, please send the following documents to stud-sek@charite.de by October 26th: the completed and signed application for participation in BUA modules application for participation in BUA-modules (module title: "X-Tutorial: project title"), the completed and signed declaration of confidentially, the signed Proof of vaccinations as well as the current enrollment certificate of your main university. 
• For StuROPx projects that are offered at Freie Universität Berlin, please send the completed and signed Application for participation in BUA-modules (module title: "X-Tutorial: project title") as well as the current enrollment certificate of your main university to bua@studium.fu-berlin.de by October 30th.
• For StuROPx projects offered at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, please send the following documents to studium.bua-buero@hu-berlin.de by October 30th: the completed and signed application Teilnahme an BUA Modulen application for participation in BUA modules (module title: "X-Tutorial: project title") as well as the current enrollment certificate of your main university.
• For StuROPx projects offered at the Technische Universität Berlin, please send the following documents to bua@pruefungen.tu-berlin.de by October 30th: the completed and signed application for participation in BUA modules (module title: "X-Tutorial: project title") as well as the current enrollment certificate of your main university.
