Our project Daten! is a teaching platform for physics-related data science skills, with exercises built on real, FAIR-aligned experimental data. Solving the tasks yields tangible physical results related to exciting state-of-the-art science. Every contributor to the platform provides not only a naked Task but also background on the experiment and their institution. Students thus do not just solve a task; they build a connection. While popular AI tools let students skip through assignments easily, we employ an AI-powered help framework, providing only the minimum help required for a struggling student. The platform runs in the browser without setup and is designed to fit into any university learning management system via the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard.
